To get waves you either get it done chemically or get your hair cut really low, start applying the wave hairdressing and using a good stiff natural bristle brush and start brushing your hair and applying the wave cap. Yes people with straight hair can get waves.Is it possible to get 360 waves with any type of grease?
waves are formed when the natural curls in ur hair is forced to lay down
and if u keep brushing ur hair will eventually give up

I would not suggest you use Vaseline to try and get waves in your hair. Try Dax or murray or some type of pomade. If you wanted to use lotion try using some link lotion for a moisturizer. But really when it comes down to getting 360 waves its all about brushing. That is the key, pomades and grease just help hold your hair down when it has gotten thick. Oh and you have to brush your hair in the right direction to get good 360 waves for example brush the back down, the sides to an angle , and the front forward.
