Beach waves (hair)?

i have pin straight hair, i usually try curling it with a 1/2 curling iron but it comes out too spiraly and doesn't last too long. but for my Dinner Dance i'd like to have cute beachy waves. how can i get this desired look without it looking to crunchy from hairspray/gel, too spiraly, or not wavy enough. what products should i use and what steps should i take? i'd like hair like this:

this is what i do





i go to the shower and flip my hair over


i shampoo and put on a lot of condioner


i flip my hair over again and wash with really cold water.





when you come out of the shower flip it again and wrap it up in a towel


DURING THIS WHOLE PROCESS NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR, JUST LET IT BE MESSY


after 5 minutes in the towel take your hair out and dont mess with it too much


apply some hair shine serum so it wont be frizzy but dont put on a lot


then put your hair in a loose bun but dont make it too twisty and hold it with those big scrunchies


then go to sleep with the bun


When you wake in the morning and take out your bun you will see that your hair is very ';beachy';. You can use hair spray and gently, on medium heat, blow it almost dry...and if you have a diffuser...even better. The less you mess with your hair the better it will turn out. Don't fret over it...Just sleep on it!

Step 1 - Wash and condition hair - don't over condition!





Step2 - Apply hair product, such as Frederick Fekkai Summer Hair Beach Waves all over hair. Blow dry hair using fingers only, scrunching as your dry.





Step3 - If you need extra curl, take a medium barrel curling iron and curl only the top of hair, starting mid-shaft.





Step4 - Flip hair upside down and toss hair with fingers to loosen curls. Spray a fine layer of hairspray and flip back. Use fingers to ';tame'; down any wild strands. Beautiful!
ok chic lets see buy some sponge rollers if u want to create that look buy some big rollers put them in ur hair when they are damp spray a little bit of hair spray put on a shower cap and fall asleep the next morning beach waves volia! :] good luck
Try using Sunsilk Waves of Envy cream/gel...it works awesomely
