How can I get the beach wave look without my hair being too weighed down or greasy?

What specific products should I use and where can I buy them at?

I have super straight hair and nothing ever seems to work for me when I try to do the beach waves.

My hair goes back to being straight very quickly %26amp; is left looking greasy and weighed down with the product I use.

Steps to get the best beach waves possible for my hair type would be appreciated. thanks to everyone to responds to this. :)How can I get the beach wave look without my hair being too weighed down or greasy?
First of all experimenting is necessary to find what works for you. It took me forever, but I finally got a good hair routine. I have naturally wavy hair so this may not be exactly what you are looking for.

What I do is wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner. Comb my hair in the shower ( after I shampoo my hair, and before conditioning.) When I get out of the shower I squeeze the ends of my hair so it isn't dripping. Then I flip my head over and kind of scrunch (or ruffle it I guess) with the towel. I let it dry a bit and then spray Sun Silk sea salt spray on my hair.(This has worked best for me and doesn't make my hair greasy or weigh it down).

I try to let my hair air dry as much as possible, but I take a shower at night and usually sleep on damp or wet hair. In the morning I touch it up but wrapping small sections around a curling iron without using the clamp.

Hope this helped. Good luck! :)
