I have really thick, straight hair. I've tried doing this with a curling iron, but it takes forever and they don't last for more than a few hours. Does anyone have any ideas how to get waves to stay in my hair (and not take an hour to style)? How to get beach-y waves in my hair?
I do this all the time. Ok so after u get out of the shower ask ur mom to french braid ur hair. If u want more defined curls put moose in it b4. Then sleep on it. In the morning take it out and finger brush until u get the desired texture. Next, if u want, u can scrunch using some moose to get some volume. You can also scrunch it with salt water in a spray can to give it more of a rolled-out of bed look. If u want a more polished look you can use ur curling iron to curl some random pieces. You can also tease the hair near ur crown 4 bigger hair. Good Luck! How to get beach-y waves in my hair?
ok, if you have the time you can use a large barrel curling iron and curl your whole head. after you curl you hair run your fingers through it so it doesnt look so perfectly curled. If you dont have as much time you can wash your hair before you go to bed then put anti frizz cream in it and put it into a bun dry or wet both work well. you could also french braid in before you go to bed or scrunch it with gel or mosse in the morning and blow it dry. all of these work well. hope i help. another thoong you can do is go tohttp://www.seventeen.com/hair-skin-makeu… and look at the best hair tips by other teens all over the country they help a lot
after you take a shower drape you head over and put moose and hairspray in it. then use your hands to scruch it up. but dont comb it after. it looks weird at first (like tangles) but after it drys (in lik 10-20 min.) it looks like its wet and curled. kind of a messy curly tho. its really cute tho. nD it takes lik 3 minutes to put in the hairspray and stuff.
good luck. ur gonna look really cute!!
Use the new sunsilk products.
Or just mix some sea salt with water and spray it in your hair and scrunch.
First -Buy Charles Worthington London ';Big Hair Full VolumeTexturizing'; salt spray ($6) or Samy iStyle ';I'm Twisted'; ($6)
Second- Before bed -lightly wet your hair (don't wash) - Spray hair from root to ends. Twist 2';-3'; sections and secure gently with bobby pins.
In the morning you can untwist and spritz more salt spray if needed. Scrunch and go. Don't comb or brush your hair.
