How to get waves with straight hair?

I got a skin fade and i want some waves but i got straight hair do anyone know how to get waves with straight hair?How to get waves with straight hair?
depending on the size you want, you could braid it over night and undo the braids for the next day, only, dont brush them or it will be a poodle-like disaster! and dont forget to spray either.





also, some hair straightners come with attachments you can wave your hair with.

get curling pins and rollers and out the into your hair after taking a shower blowdry with the rollers in sleep with them in if you want it to hold longer
take a shower, braid your hair while its wet and sleep with it or leave it in a long time. u might want to blow dry it while its in braids
they sell curling shampoos and conditioners. also hot rollers and curling irons will add the body to your hair where you want it to be and in the amount you want it. i would go to the salon when you get your hair cut and ask the lady how to curl it and let her do it and see if you like it there are also semi permanent waves that a salon person can do to your hair to make it last for a while.that braiding thing works too that the other answers are talking about but it is alot like crimping just not real tight looking
I take a curling iron (small one since I have short hair) and instead of clamping my hair into it, I don't use that part at all. I spray some hair spray in it, and wrap it around the barrel of the iron for about 10 seconds. Sometimes I have to run my fingers through it to tone it down a little, but you will have waves if you do it right.
sleep in braids or perm...ORR one thing I tried once was take a shower and twist your hair up all kinds of different ways and put it into little clips all over your head and blow dry it then take them out..results may vary..:D

2. you could put it in 2 or 3 braids when its damp (the more braids you put in the more waves there will be) and once your hair is dry, take out the braid and hairsprayy.
braid your hair over night. in the morning, spray your braids with aussie scrunch hair spray. then take out your braids and it'll be wavy and should stay as long as you spray it
ok brush your hair and make it wet like damp then french braid it put hair spray in it take it out in the morning then grab some more hair spray andgrab two pieces of hair and make it a crown style it will look really cute i did that and at least 30 people said they love my hair
put then in curlers.....a certain way.......or wet braid ur hair......or put it into a messy bun like thing and sleep on it after a shower......hmm...thats all i got....no wait....scrunch it with special mouse.....that works for ur hair.
braid your hair while it is still damp and go to sleep with it like that.


In the morning, when you wake up, take your braid(s) out and spray some hair spray on it, your hair will definatley be wavy. :)
