How can i get my straight hair wavy?

i have extremely straight hair. even if i tried to curl/wave it with hairspray or irons it doesnt hold.i have tried perms and those doent work either. i have used an entire can of hairspray/moose and the waves/curls fell out within 5 mins. Any tips? i want the summer wavy hair look, not curly just a little wave.How can i get my straight hair wavy?
Divide your hair into 3 sections (4 if its a little thick and 5-6 if its really thick), spray it with long hold hair spray, and braid each section... pass a flat iron over the braids and keep them in for at least half an hour... or sleep in them if possible... this should work...How can i get my straight hair wavy?
well wat i do is i take a shower than scrunch up my hair and then put hairspray in my hair and then it actully stays like that.

Sometimes, if you put your hair in braids overnight, and take the braids out in the morning, it will stay wavy. But obviously don't wash your hair or anything that morning. Good luck!
